For me personally - having worked with Kathleen in the past - it was a reminder of her gift of care, wisdom, deep know-how and inspiration to build and better in our bodies. Thank you Kathleen for the work you do in the world - especially in the space for women and women's heath! You create a safe, accepting, non-judgemental space - you start where each person is. She changes lives - on person, one retreat at a time.This is a value add/incredible value weekend - a way to connect with others who care about this and want to learn, a way to connect to self and a way to escape the ordinary and be in an extraordinary location. My husband and I are both retired police officers living with PTSD. This is not an easy journey, and access to appropriate care can be inconvenient, complicated, and expensive for many of us. We were completely surprised when we found Kathleen; not only by the TRE technique, but also by how deeply she cares for the well-being of First Responders. Because this technique can be used anywhere, at any time, it provides First Responders with immediate access to an important mental health care tool. I am a former corrections officer who lives with PTSD. Throughout my recovery I have tried all kinds of coping strategies to release trauma and promote healing. Along my journey to better support myself, first responders, and their families - I found Kathleen! TRE was so interesting...and after first session I was blown away by; not only how my body was able to tremor, but what I learned about myself throughout the session, and subsequent sessions that followed. I tell everyone I know about this technique, because, in addition to be fascinating - I found it easy, helpful, and allowed me to let of some of the built up trauma that I know my body has stored for years. I always walk away from my TRE session feeling lighter. I always enjoy time with Kathleen. This spring, I had the opportunity to introduced her to a group of first responder spouses at a retreat - and she was able to showcase this technique. It was well received and I know some of them continue to work with her !

Kathleen's proactive approach to wellness has made a huge difference in my life!I first met Kathleen in January of 2021, after a series of injuries left me with troubling myofascial issues, nerve pain, and numbness and tingling in my hand. Her techniques included a focus on improving my postural alignment with a variety of modalities, including pilates, general strengthening exercises and self myofascial release, in order to strengthen my core from head to toe and alleviate my discomfort. I am now pain free and walking much taller and straighter, and swear by Kathleen's methods, which I believe will help me maintain a healthy body for the rest of my life.
